According to foreign media reports, Brazil's chicken and pork export giant Brazil BRF has established a global chief operating officer, and BRF's board of directors decided to let Lorival Nogueira Luz Jr. assume the position.
According to the news released on June 14 by the official website of BRF, the chief responsibility of BRF's global chief operating officer is to supervise the operation and management of the company and report directly to the global CEO.
In a similar statement, BRF confirmed that the company’s board of directors has appointed Pedro Pullen Parente as CEO of BRF Global. The position has been vacant since April 23rd, but Lorival Nogueira LuzJr. temporarily assumed the position of interim chief executive after the last full-time global CEO José Aurélio Drummond Jr. left.
