Kazakhstan Bans Imports Of Russian Poultry Products To Prevent Bird Flu

According to news from the Kazakhstan Ministry of Agriculture, Kazakhstan has banned the import of products from 36 poultry factories in Russia due to concerns about bird flu.

Earlier, the OIE has confirmed that bird flu has occurred in Russia's Kursk, Penza and Samar states.

To this end, since June 21, Kazakhstan has banned the import of all poultry products such as live poultry, poultry, and eggs from the three states. In addition, poultry feed and farming equipment used in Kazakhstan are also restricted.
